UUD_Animation Experiment

This is my animation experiment with the audio in black and white.
I feel it should be more business like rather than grungy annd should have more blue
to give it a feel of business.

FMP Proposal_Updated

I am planning to do a campaign against unfair and unnecessary dismissal in the workplace (UUD).
I feel very passionate about this because someone close to me was unfairly bullied and then fired by people above her.
I want to create an type based animation as my main piece. My inspirations for this animation are from Foggie and Johnny Hardstaff.
I also want to take a range of photos of business men at work or in the streets and manipulate them to get a message about who would fire and be fired.
On top of that I'd like to create a range of campaign posters to get my point out to other people about what the campaign is about and how it is going to help.

Ultimately I'd like the message to show people that we can change the rules in the work place to stop so much freedom for people to have
the ability to bully and fire others that work under them.

South African Shanty Towns

Here are some examples of Shanty towns in South Africa. As you can see, even though it's the richest part of Africa, there are still major poor areas.
My FMP will be about the people who migrate from central africa thinking they will get jobs and in Southern Africa to find that they will only land up in the shanty towns there.

Big City Slums

After thinking it through. It's really difficult to say what I'd like to do for my major project in so little time but I've come up with an idea I feel strongly about.

The slums that I've experienced in Africa aren't very focused on because they're located in the South where it's the richest part. Mainly west, east and central Africa are the focuses of charities and such. I'd like to get across to everyone that it's not only the Africans in villages that are experiencing problems but the shanty towns in the middle of big cities that are major problems too. They're high in crime, most of them carrying weapons. People never feel safe even driving passed the shanty towns because they sometimes just walk up to your car window and rob you at gun point. I'd like to show people that there are problems throughout Africa and not just in the center.
